He is the One Who is vast with respect to His Attributes and qualities and those things linked to them - this from the point of view that none can enumerate His praise as He deserves, rather He is as He has praised Himself. Vast in grandeur, authority and dominion, Vast in bestowing grace and Vast in Goodness and Nobility.
His blessings never end, His mercy is boundless, His forgiveness is vast, and His mercy and compassion are infinite. Allah’s attribute of al-Wasi manifests itself especially on believers. As His mercy and compassion are vast, He encompasses His faithful servants with His mercy and protects them. For instance, some unbelievers seek to harm religion by imposing hardships, such as by saying,
“... Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah, until they disband [go away from him]...” (Surat al-Munafiqun, 63:7).
But all of these efforts are futile, for Allah gives His unbounded mercy and wealth to whomever He wills, for He owns the treasures of the heavens and Earth.

Some examples of quranic usage :
"The example [ / parable / likeness] of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing, All-Knowing."
(Surat Al Baqarah; 2:261)
"Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality [ / indecency / evil deeds], while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing, All-Knowing."
(Surat Al Baqarah; 2:268)
"O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion – Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful [ / mighty / dignified / stern] against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a blamer. That is the favor of Allah; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing."
(Surat Al Ma'ida ; 5:54)
